Further to the joint statement which was issued on 25th November, the Committees and Coaches of both Ferndown and BDSC met last night to progress the merger process. We are able to inform the membership that both Clubs are still committed to bring the merger vote to the membership. To enable this to happen we need to revise the coaching structure and the swimmers pathway and link this not only to our business plan but make sure this review falls in line with the ASA. This is being done over the Christmas period and the Committees meet again on 5th January, after which there will be another communication to the Clubs prior to the consultation period.
