08.06.08 - Western Age Group Championships Successes Well Done to all ! Click here for the Medal table from Weekend 1 of the Western Age Group Championships 2008. ** Remember Plymouth are by far the best achieving club in the country and we are closing the gap rapidly ! Apart from a few mishaps and some first time nerves our results were simply outstanding. Many coaches came up to me and commented not only how well we were performing but the happiness and professionalism of the team. Many congratulations to all and especially our 3 new National qualifiers. I still believe we can get 2 more qualified this weekend. Swimmers competing on Saturday can once again miss training on Friday morning otherwise a normal week. Well done again Graham & Sam

Message for Western swimmers: Please find the warm up times and reporting times for bloodflow exercises for Weekend 2 here. Swimmers should be on poolside ready to start the bloodfow in groups at times stated. Reminder for Parents: Please be aware that you are NOT allowed on the Coaches/Swimmers side of the pool and that swimmers should stay with the team at all times during competition. Several swimmers missed important team messages by their absence and then had to rush to the blocks. Preparation is everything in major competitions and the Westerns prepares our swimmers for Nationals. |
14.04.08 - 18th BDSC Open Success Well Done Everyone ! Firstly I would like to thank everyone for making our meet such a huge success. The officials, volunteers, coaches and swimmers all did a fantastic job. Without everyone's help we could not do this so a BIG thank you to everyone. We had a record number of rejections this year which is a shame for those who did not get all their swims, I am very sorry if I rejected you. Our meets have become so popular we are looking at ways in which we can help swimmers get their times in a fantastic pool with excellent facilities, watch this space for details. I know we have corrections to do for the following swimmers who swam at the last minute replacing other swimmers:
We look forward to seeing you again soon. Isabel Bridges, Meet Promoter
